Christmas Time!!!!





Well it is getting to be that time of year. We are all looking forward to it. It is the first christmas in 2 years that we feel somewhat settled. Every night Shelby asks me to be sure to wake her up for christmas. She is afraid that she may sleep through it. Rachel has a list as long as her arm...an ipod, an idog, books, make up, heely's .......it goes on and on. Rob's list is just as long only his has 4 figures to it. Shelby is easy, anything princess, mermaid, girly....."or a gun, a little one...just pretend....not a big one...just a little one....I wont shoot someones brains..." Where does she get this stuff. I think maybe we need to seek help.

We got a new tree for upstairs this year. The girls decorated it themselves.

FALL IS HERE

Here are some Photos of Shelby in her last game of her first years' soccer season. She had a good time but it was truly on her terms. You can't tell her to do anything. She finally in the last game scored a goal. The arms were in the air and she ran around doing a Mia Hamm or something. Pretty funny.

Here is Rachel as a Rock Star.......It may be the scarriest Halloween costume yet.

before the trick or treating...Which netted over 10 pounds of candy over 3 1/2 hours of pounding the sidewalk (and the neighbor's doors).

Once in a while they will clean up, and sit still.

Labor Day Weekend

Here it is Labor Day weekend.... Sat. night...alone with just the computer. I guess I dont lead a very exciting life. I had to work until 10 on friday night and then all day tody, Rob works all night with different days off It doesn't leave a lot of time to do much.
We are going to Vegas for the innerbike show. Should be fun. Rob has never been. I guess we will drive down.
My sister is down so we will go to the big Eastern Idaho State Fair. WOW then the kids will have a joint birthday Monday then back to work.
School started, Rachel thinks it will be good. I quetion it. The teacher maybe "too" nice. I hope she will challenge the kids and make them learn.

Shelby bite another kid again. I guess it is time for a mussle....Do they make them for kids? We'll see.

Well here is my first Blog. I am not sure how to do it or what I will say. I am an athletic trainer and a mother of 2. I have a husband who races bikes and is from Kilinney Ireland. We just got back from the last stage of the Tour de France. Awsome!!! The experence was once in a life time.

Today is the first day of school. WOW... I think you need an extra job just to pay for all of the "school supplies" The clothes, new binders, paper, pencils (who knew a pack of pencils could be $8.00) Why do kids need new back packs every year? I think it my be better value to go to private school and have uniforms. Rachel who is 8, she "would never go to a private school.....Have you seen the uniforms? They ar in no way fashionable" And yes, I guess it really is all about fashion.
